Rajat Patidar, Suyash Prabhudessai, and Mohammed Azharduddeen have been identified by Mike Hesson, the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) Director of Cricket Operations, as the players who could steal the show in the 2021 Indian Premier League (IPL).

Patidar represents Madhya Pradesh and has a 143.53 T20 strike rate. In just 22 matches, the 27-year-old batter has six half-centuries at an average of 34.95, including a top score of 96 against Goa in Indore. RCB acquired him for INR 20 lakhs as his base price.

After impressing on the domestic circuit, Azharuddeen went for his base price of INR 20 lakhs. He has the best score of unbeaten 137, which catapulted him into the spotlight. He scored a couple of fifties in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, demonstrating his outstanding form.

Prabhudessai was also signed by RCB for INR 20 lakhs. He also had a strong appearance in the SMAT. The 23-year-old has 357 runs at a strike rate of 148.13 in 17 T20s, with a top score of an unbeaten 80.

The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will open their campaign at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai against the reigning champions Mumbai Indians (MI).
